Creative Ways to Remember Your clients During the Holidays
A little ho, ho, ho can help your business grow, grow, grow.

We all know that relationships are at the core of every Realtor's success. And as the holidays near, it's just as important as ever to show your clients you're thinking of them. But coming up with ideas for showing them they matter can be tough, especially in these epidemiological times. The big get-togethers, the holiday toasts and the party platters — well, they may not be options this year. What's a real estate agent to do? We've got you! Read on.
Show clients they matter with thoughtful touches
It's still possible to show your past, present and potential clients as well as your network that they matter to you — but in 2020, we need a little extra creativity. Here are some ideas to put to work for you.
Create a guide to the best lights in the city
Holiday parties may be subdued this year, but you can help everyone enjoy the season safely by providing a neighborhood holiday lights guide with a driving route. You can include official lighting displays, homes known to really hit it out of the park and even drive-thru restaurants en route where they can pick up a cup of hot cocoa.
Deliver a unique gift
Divert some of your seasonal marketing budget toward giving gifts to clients. Start by thinking of those you count on for leads and those who've recently sold their homes, then expand to connections in the community and vendors. You may want to provide a creative no-contact delivery out of respect for everyone's well-being in these times. What to give? How about personalized baked goods or holiday housewarming gifts for new homeowners? You could also come up with a signature item — something locally-themed or especially appropriate for your region, and give it a fresh spin annually. Of course, a personal gift you know they'd appreciate will have the greatest impact, so know your clients and what they love.
Host an online cooking event
Everyone's cooking at home more these days. And client appreciation parties are iffy this year, so why not take it online instead? If you're handy in the kitchen and have a favorite family holiday recipe, why not host a social media cooking event? You can send attendees a list of ingredients to get, and all of you can cook together. Maybe it's time to dust off those family cookie recipes or show off your icing skills. Raise a cup of cozy and enjoy this new take on togetherness and networking. You may even capture some new leads if you make it open to the public. When you're raking in the culinary accolades, be sure to remind people of your day job! (And that you appreciate referrals.)
Remembering clients during the holidays is key in real estate
Remembering real estate clients around the holidays — even and especially during a pandemic year — is important. It shows them they matter to you, that you're thinking of them and that you appreciate them. By investing a little time and energy into the process, you can create a memorable experience they're sure to reflect on the next time they need a Realtor.
